Chemistry Club Recordings – established by Matt Tanner one half of the Digital Breaks Foundation (DBF) as an outlet for the material the guys have been working on since their move away from Boombox Records. The label is designed to reflect the musical direction that the Digital Breaks Foundation bring to their productions. Accompanying the releases where possible, will be remixes from artists whose style will complement the releases so that Chemistry Club Recordings can deliver genre spanning releases with each outing. There will ,of course, be scope for releases form other artists along the way but for now the label will concentrate on bringing forth the tracks the DBF have already completed and have ready to drop.

Digitize The Musik / Imagination[Chemistry Club Rec]

Fresh from their previous success on Boombox Records, Digital Breaks Foundation are back with a hot AA side on a brand new imprint “Chemistry Club Recordings”.

In keeping with the “Digital” theme, Digitize the Musik uses a digitally processed vocal that rides smoothly over a filtering acid synth and a seriously heavy kick, synonymous with the nu-skool breaks vibe. Imagination, a track for the tech funk and 4/4 floors alike, will crank up any set with its infectious bass line, subtle use of layered synths and a quality vocal sample.

This release will find favour with dj’s across the breaks, tech funk and 4/4 genres. The Digital Breaks Foundation are also set for a string of storming new releases for 2008, cementing their reputation for groovy breaks with that killer peak time flow.
